Signal Flow Diagram

These signal flow block diagrams illustrate the flexible mixing and routing, as well as the powerful signal processing capabilities, offered by the PLM™ Series. The input section (shown in blue) allows for redundant signal paths. All settings stored here at the front end apply to system and array files, not to individual processing modules.

Following the output routing section, however, all settings apply only to the configured input channel. These settings are then assigned to the desired outputs via the software-controlled output routing. This innovative architecture allows one level of “global” presets (for the full system, subsystems or arrays) with another level of presets for specific outputs or output groups. PLM mirrors the Dolby® Lake® Processor (DLP) in providing six processing channels. This allows existing DLP module files to be loaded and routing maintained.
