Lab Gruppen founders Kenneth and Dan built handmade, durable consoles from repurposed electronics, leading to a stadium debut with Eartha Kitt.

1988 Class TD and DSP
Lab Gruppen developed the patented Class TD topology, combining Class B audio quality with Class D efficiency, first featured in the LAB 2000. This era also introduced the DSP 24 for high-precision filtering and VIEW, the brand's first Windows-based control software.
